I love to play around with my designs, mixing different mediums to see how they complement each other.  I do however, prefer to make unique, one off pieces using lampwork beads. When using them, I always make sure to identify the lampwork artist whose beads I have used.  They in themselves have created a wonderful piece of art and should , I believe, be given credit for this.

I call this necklace Elanquise.  The lampwork beads were made by Jan Jennings.

As well as working with lampwork, I also love to create jewellery using the age old technique of chain maille, which involves the linking together of metal jump rings.  The basic designs of which can be traced back hundreds of years.  It is these designs that I use as inspiration to build new and exciting pieces of jewellery.
